The chromatic adventure of this creation lies entirely in the dynamic thrust of the geometries filled with light and contrasts. It is an homage to the masterful abstract representations of Auguste Herbin (1882-1960), based on Goethe's theory of colors.
The most evident comparison is with Herbin's works such as Air, feu (1944), Variations (1944), Fleur, Fruit (1945), Fer Acier (1946), and Cahine (1958). Currently, one of the best interpreters of this style is the French painter Vincent Huot.
