These are the final words from the logbook of Richard Evelyn Byrd, a United States Navy admiral who conducted several exploratory flights to the South Pole in the post-war period. During one of these missions, he experienced—according to his own account—an extraordinary encounter with a marvelous and unknown civilization, reminiscent of the mythical Rainbow City located, according to legend, beneath the South Pole, at the entrance to the Hollow Earth.

Although many detractors have attempted to disprove the authenticity of the document, we embrace the mystery, imagining Rainbow City entirely made of crystal and shimmering with the same colors that captivated Byrd.
