Niamh is the queen of Tír na nÓg, the land of eternal youth in Irish mythology. Daughter of the sea god and the queen of the fairies, her name means "radiant" and is linked to that of Oisín, the legendary bard traditionally considered the "Homer of the North."
Together they are the protagonists of one of the most romantic love stories in the Fianna Cycle.
