This refined pattern of white microdots on a blue background is a tribute to my dear grandmother Lucia, who loved wearing it on dresses and blouses.
Fashionable especially in the 1930s, polka dots began to assert themselves in various colors and sizes, representing one of the liveliest and most spirited decorative motifs promoted by pin-up style between the 1950s and 1960s.
Since then, the "polka dot" charm has become timeless and still today continues to peek out on fashion runways and on every type of furnishing material with all the sparkling joy of its infinite bubbles in motion.
